I have been craving spaghetti lately, but after my cheat debacle this weekend, I am not about to fall of the wagon again. So, today I found an Italian Beef recipe that has been modified for Phase 2 of the HCG Diet. Its like spaghetti, only no spaghetti... if that makes sense.



Ingredients:
100 grams lean ground beef
1/2 cup Hunts Tomato Sauce (no sugar added)
1/2 tomato
2 T. minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 t. Italian seasoning (no sugar added)
1 stevia packet (optional)
2 Garlic Melba Snacks

In a medium pan, brown ground beef. Add in tomato sauce and tomato. Cook until tomatoes are soft. Add in garlic, and seasonings. Serve warm with Melba toast.

I am pretty excited to try this recipe out. I know that even though there arent noodles in it, Ill be glad I stuck with an HCG approved recipe in the long run.
